We aim to make life easy for our clients. As a Registration Agent, we do not issue LEIs directly, but serve as an interface between the legal entity and the issuer. We supply the issuer with relevant and validated information about the legal entity, and process and receive secure payment for the issuance and renewal of LEIs.

- Bulk registration
If you wish to apply for a large number of LEIs at the same time, you don't have to register them one at a time. Through the UKLEI portal, you can download and fill out the bulk registration template, which lets you fill out an Excel sheet to register any number of LEIs at the same time. - Assisted registration
UKLEI supports assisted registration processes, which lets a client apply for LEIs on behalf of third parties, for example parent companies applying for LEIs on behalf of their subsidiaries, or an accontancy firm applying on behalf of their clients. - LEI-SureMatch
The LEI system is still under development, and process maturity, data formats and best practices differ between the 17 operational issuers active today. As a result of this, companies can experience difficulties in matching their internal register records against the Global LEI System. We offer our clients acces to the powerful Congruos software, designed to detect specific corresponding records.

It was the Global Legal Entity Foundation, GLEIF, that introduced the concept of Registration Agents, to further streamline the issuance of LEIs and making it easier and faster for companies and organizations to apply and register. UKLEI are one of only a few agents officially recognized by GLEIF.
When you buy an LEI from us, all you have to do is sign up for an account, and then immediately fill out your application for an LEI. The whole thing takes only a few minutes, provided you have the necessary information about your organization. We then validate your information and forward it to the issuer, the GMEI Utility, who issues your LEI within 48-72 hrs. During the whole process, we are just a phone call or a mail away if you have any questions, and you can always access any information regarded to your LEI on your account page in the UKLEI portal.
The GMEI Utility
The Global Markets Entity Identifier Utility is an LEI service solution designed by the American financial service company DTCC. It was developed shortly after the financial crisis of 2008-2009 and designed to meet global requirements across all asset classes. It is now one of the world's largest LOU:s (Local Operating Units) accredited for LEI issuance by the Global LEI Foundaiton (GLEIF).
